September, 2016 in between the submission lines, monthly tests and weekly vivas the youngest Organizer of PyLadies Pune: Sharvi Naik fixed the dates for basics of Python 3 workshop. She looked into managing of logistics. Her promotion for the event deserved special appreciation, getting together more than 185 registrations for the event!!
The participants were from all four years of Engineering fading out the rule that only software engineers should learn to code. The worth look into part of this event was a presence of all female participants and involvement of faculty taking interests to learn to code in Python.

Commencement of the Workshop

The Workshop started at 10a.m. As majority of participants were infant engineers, the beginning hours of the workshop went about installing Python 3 set-up on the machines.
Sharvi introduced about the PyLadies Pune team. Drishti Jain, another enthusiastic Python coder taught how to write first python code.
Sharvi and Drishti commanded python till the first half of the day.

I then took over the second half for the day. Students enjoyed the simplicity of coding in Python language. The students were intrigued  with small Python codes to manage file handling operations explicitly and are passionate to learn more about Python and join more events by PyLadies Pune.
